Ambulance Services

Please call 911 for emergencies

NOCHS EMS has been proudly serving the community for 50 years. Our hospital-based, centralized dispatch system answers 6,000 calls a year, resulting in the transportation of nearly 5,000 patients in the Tri-Cities, as well as throughout Grand Haven, Spring Lake, West Olive, Port Sheldon and Crockery townships.

Each of our 29 EMTs and paramedics are state licensed, and our entire division is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). We provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) service aboard our fleet of our ambulances and specialized ASAP Unit, which is designed for off-road rescues on trails and sand. We routinely collaborate with community police and fire departments, and are also affiliated with area Emergency Helicopter Services.

In addition to emergency calls, our personnel are also engaged in community safety, often stationed at events large and small such as the Coast Guard Festival and local races and marathons. We also actively support educational outreach programs within our area schools, as well as with local police and fire departments.
